English Language Requirements
Learners must demonstrate English language proficiency sufficient to successfully engage with programme materials, participate in learning activities, and complete assessments. This may be evidenced through prior education completed in English or through a recognised English language qualification.

Examines the laws and best practices for protecting personal health information, including PHIPA and PIPEDA and the handling of patient records.
Introduces the principles of infection prevention—hand hygiene, sterilization, and standard precautions—used to keep clinical environments safe.
Teaches how to read and maintain dental charts and clinical records accurately and confidentially.
Introduces the common materials and instruments used in dentistry and their purposes within clinical procedures.
Explains how to process dental claims and manage billing through insurance plans and provincial programs in a Canadian dental office.
